Great place to visit; the walk all the way was too onerous for hubby but later we drove to a place where he could watch the lake with a short walk from the car park.

looks like a beautiful nature location to be outdoors together. Thanks for posting your QOL outing. I think I’ll try to get up to the forest in the next couple of days myself. Kewl ….

Lovely thing to do together. And it's not actually raining ( for the non-Brits, it does a lot raining in the Lakes!). Enjoy X

We were lucky with the weather. No rain that day. The sun shone later in the day.

What a beautiful, tranquil spot to push out the PCa worries :-). So wonderful for y'all to just get out and enjoy Nature.

Mahalo for the QoL post, these help us all vicariously enjoy the World out there :-) and not dwell on whatever else is going on

Fight on, QoL on

Btw, My #1 son and his wife live in London

Hi spw1

Hope it goes well today in London. Are you going to the Marsden.? Please let us know how you get on. Fingers and toes all crossed for you both

This was a trip to the University College Hospital. Looking into Lu177 and then a trial. At the moment, we need to see what is feasible from travel and pain point of view and also eligibility perspective. Trying not to leave any stone unturned.

No Stone, no pebble, no boulder. Keep searching, keep fighting.

Lovely - is it Bowness-on-Windermere? I spent many a happy time there as a boy / teenager. Thanks for the memories (even if I’m wrong 😂). Wishing you and your hubby all the very best Darren

It is indeed. You were lucky. I read the Swallows and Amazons and the Beatrix Potter books. If I lived there, would want to be a writer too.

The Lake District is a jewel. I'm glad your gentleman could enjoy! - Joe M.

If I can get hubby out of hospital and back on his feet in time for Christmas, the Lake District is the place we want to spend it, along with New Year. A beautiful place. Glad you had a lovely time

I hope that you are able to do that and more. 🙏

There is a favorite picnic spot for this Yank behind Ullswater. I try to visit each time I'm over. Sounds like you are on a great healing trip.

Cheers,

Buddy
