I am on Lupron and Xtaindi for about 2 years.

Anyone have bone/joint pain? I am thinking about setting up an appointment with a physical therapist at Mt Sinai in NYC.

I use an body vibrator that does help. Also I take some herbal anti-inflammatory.

Any ideas?

I did for a while before Covid and learned a lot of stretches and exercises that I still do today, I had Mets to my spine a pelvis area that can get achy from time to time. I’m currently on a daily dose of Celebrex that help with aches and pains and also headaches from Xtandi.

Hi Ed, Thanks for your reply. Were you treated in New York City? I am also looking for a doc in nyc.

No, I’m in the ATL area, my onco wrote a prescription for PT based on my suggestion, then I just chose whatever PT I wanted. I used Benchmark for my PT, it was very helpful, I learned a variety of stretches and rigorous exercises I could do, and getting my back worked on by a pro was great. I even tried needling one time but it didn’t do much for me.

Read the ingredient list on "Joint Vibrance". You may find that it will be more effective.

Your choice. Your decision.

Hmm--one link's heading says no and one link's heading says maybe. Maybe is enough to stay away.

Have you tried a teaspoon of high quality fish oil on an empty stomach? That and Knox Gelatin packets helped me rehab a shoulder in 1981. There wasn't much available then. I used an adjustable chest expander to do my rehab with.

I became a vegan. I use the Sun Warrior Collagen Building formula.

The fluoroquinolones my uro used attacked the old, long forgotten injuries leaving me literally crippled for several years and unable to sleep in one position for more than an hour before the pain awoke me. He prescribed Cipro orally as well as what the nurse said was a "humongous shot" of Levaquin just prior to procedures. The combination may well have exacerbated the damage. Much will be irreversible.

how much do you exercise and what kind? How is your bone density, do you get Dexa scans regularly?

I too suffered muscle and joint pain from Lupron and Tak-700 similar to zytiga .Firs5 sarcopenia then osteopenia set in . I think that it’s a great idea to do PT to try to stave off the penias! Once they give you a routine you could probably do it at home? Good luck ! 🍀

Actually, I got a tip from this site a year ago and it really does help. It’s called arm swinging or ping shui. You can find a video on utube. It’s very easy. You just swing your arms for 5 minutes a day. It helps to both adjust the spine and get blood flowing to joints.
