My integrative therapist told me that fasting benefit are two fold in that it makes the cancer cells more vulnerable and also helps protect the other cells from radiation damage. Do not know if a fast mimicking (prolon) would offer the same benefits. I wish i had some real studies that could confirm this. I do believe that intermittent fasting as well fasting in general is good . There are a lot of degrees to fasting so one has to get informed. Best of luck.

I've done IF(Intermittent Fasting) since the diagnosis in 01/2015 with #stageivpca. I do a 16 hr fast from 9pm to 1pm the next day. I also do a two day fast prior to chemos. Have had Taxotere and now Cabazitaxel totaling 33 so far.
