Prostate Cancer Hijacks Tumor Cells’ Circadian Rhythm To Evade Hormone Therapy
George,Who would have known? As our ADT puts these PCa cells into sennescence (asleep), we need tofind ways to keep them asleep. This protein seems to be an answer !There quote: “The circadian rhythm in prostate tumor cells is no longer functional, and the proteins have taken on an entirely new role. This new escape route of the tumor cell has our full attention now, and follow-up research will show whether inhibition of this process can improve prostate cancer treatment.”
Thanks, keep your research going, Mike
Thank you George, I copied this and also sent to our functional Doc. Drug Repurposing?
Ok, means same as off label.
Interesting for sure... But will be even more so to see how tissue and mice in the lab translate to live studies! Funny how they don't talk about the protein or it's methodology. It's all good, and I hope they've truly found something new. But we all know how many promising things have been identified in the lab, and with nice, only to get lost on live human tissue.
Thanks for posting!
