Jeff had yet another blood transfusion Saturday. In the event he does get Keytruda next week, it has the propensity to drop these levels. So in lieu of waiting until he was 6.9, they went ahead and ordered the blood transfusion at 7.3.
Jeff had a small appetite yesterday morning and felt well enough to go to breakfast.
Breakfast was lovely and our children and our son’s girlfriend joined us.
As I fear we are running out of time, I “warned” my children that I’d be asking the resturant staff to take a group picture of us. I’m so pleased with it … everyone looks great.
Jeff and I, of course, took our obligatory selfie and our daughter snapped a shot of us too.
Making memories for as long as we can.

Glad he could get out with you all. Nice picture. I see Jeff's beard is about like mine. Mine was longer and fuller than your son's for 25 yrs before chemo. I also had nice full long ponytail, but now thin white hair that has come back won't let that happen again... Best of luck with next infusion, my next Xofigo is on Weds. Life Is Good, so are memories.
Hi Stephanie, Nice family picture. If we didn't know Jeff was sick we would never guess. By the way, your choice of a breakfast location looks more like a pub than a restaurant! 😊
It’s a great little place called, “Roosters, Barn and Grill” (a play on bar and grill) they have pool tables and darts and I believe a jukebox. Although they cater to the night crowd, we’ve only ever had breakfast there. Despite also being a bar, they have multiple breakfast choices from eggs benedict to omelets, skillets, pancakes, and french toast. No matter the order, its always so delicious. Jeff and I call it “our place” … the kids are lucky if they get invited too. LOL
Nothing better than making memories with delicious breakfast food to boot. Praying that you and Jeff and family will be making memories again and again.
