I have decided that an orchiectomy may be a good way for me to go. Will my insurances Medicare and AARP pony up?

I don't know what state you are in. What Medicare and AARP pay is different in each state You surgeon's office should be able to tell you.

Why don't you just call your insurance company and ask them?

If you have Original Medicare then the coverage is the same throughout the country, whether you are in California or Maine. If your AARP plan is a Medicare supplement plan then they MUST cover anything the Original Medicare has covered. Use this site to see if Medicare covers something.medicare.gov/what-medicare-...

If you have a Medicare Advantage plan then there can be differences depending on the state you live in

Medicare coverage is standardized. The cost charged per hospital is different. Your physician should be able to tell you and your Part B plan should also be able to advise.

Yes Medicare will pay and AARP United Health will also. They will pay for a penile prosthesis implant which is useful and I think avoids penile neuropathy. I am 80 and happy with the results.

Got mine *Freeze Dried* in 2015 and hung them in a Steel Sack from my Miata's trailer hitch. Had to install *air shocks* cause they constantly scraped the road causing sparks.

I think they will pay . After all they save a lot by stopping adt shots . I did the orch in 2017 18 months after dx . I was told shots for life . I disliked the Lupron much . No shots since 2017 . For me it was proactive . Good luck . Keep Rockin!
