Melatonin does and Gay page

Hello

Been on this site awhile.

2 short questions:

My Dr suggested Melatonin to help with sleep. I have been taking 5 mg at bed time. It doesn't help me go down - but I think it keeps me down through the night - with the exceptions of waking to urinate - but I use a pee bottle so I can just do it and role over and fall back to sleep

question 1 - I take 5 mg. I believe I have read here of people taking much larger doses. I will see Dr in 2 weeks and ask her input but would be glad to hear of others experiences and amount taken. Also When do you take it> At bed Time or earlier in the evening.

question 2 Advanced Prostate Cancer is the part of this site that appears first. I would like the gay part of this site to be my primary point of contact. How do I do this ? * obviously VERY low tech here )

Thanks

PJD
