J-O-H-N did reply to a PM early at his departure. I did not hear he was harassed and only heard he made the decision not to participate anymore. A definite loss though it seems some did not get or appreciate his humor. I for one did very much. I hope he is well.

He doing other stuff ,he said . A man of many interest beyond humor .We used to banter back and forth like Don Rickle .. some people just can’t take a joke . He picked up n the third call yesterday . He said , on the first he was showering with his wife , on the second with his girlfriend . 😂😂😂🥳🥳. I can’t count the times j-o-h-n lifted me up out of the dirt .. He’s my man . Luv this guy .. later ✌️

It is a sort of reaction to one's state...so you express your anger thru hurting the brother...JOHN should just laugh aloud like Chinese Boudha.........

Yes I guess you are correct, but I still don't get that kind of attitude.
For someone who may be new to all this and asks a serious question, that person could be irritated but what could be perceived as a flippant reply by John. In fact, quite a long time ago, I messaged my concern.....I think his response was a flippant remark..though I don't know if he intended it as such. Some of us just are more serious than others? I suspect JOHN ran into such criticism from someone else?

However, I still think that "laughter is the best medicine"!
Humor helps us (me) to deal with the serious matters at hand.

I guess that there are times to be serious and times we can laugh, maybe that's for us to discern. I understand your point of view, it's odd how sometimes for example in a phone text or even a letter, the subject matter can be totally misinterpreted.
I put one on here some months back, about how safe sex is now a handrail around the bed, fortunately is was met well, another day perhaps not.

How have been doing since tapering down the Z&P ? Are still okay without the Lupron, I guess that you are monitoring the monitors, so to speak ?

My dx (exactly 3 years ago) was G9 but S3. Did meet 2/3 of the Stampede criteria.
Stopped Z & P in January.
Within the past month I've had bone and complete CT scans (along with some new blood work) and no evidence of any mets.
Met with my MO last week (great doc, however, he strongly disagreed with my decision to stop ADT!) and he gave me a clean bill.
However, he said "I'll see you in 3 months". Just to make sure?😟
What was the reason behind your decision to stop the meds ?
Good question! In 2/20 my MSK RO looked me in the eye and said "you are not going to die from APC"
He did a great job with HDR Brachy, 25 days of IMRT and he referred me to my MO!
It was then that I decided to stop.
However, MO strongly suggested that I continue Z & P for another year. Agreed.

I rented a place on Hilton Head for two months back in the summer of 1998. A beautiful place and loved every minute of it. Just have a longing for the upstate.

I've had several interactions with J-O-H-N over time and came to see his 'humor' as - 'let's not take ourselves too seriously / always look at the brighter side of life' because we are gifted enough to have people who care for us joining the difficult and sometimes awkward feelings that accompany PCa.
I HAVE offended a few people myself through posts - not intending to inflict damage - but sometimes we call 'em the way we see them - and we aren't always going to be right or mainstream.
I'd like to see J-O-H-N rejoin 'hu' - he was different - but he never intended to cause added grief or show a condemning point of view - EVER.
I also note that ALL of my jokes are much funnier - so that strokes my ego with pizzaz !
Come back when you are ready and know that you are appreciated by the vast majority .....

If memory serves me, its a short drive from where you live on "Looong" Island to the ferry dock at Port Jefferson, NY.
Now, I could jump on the ferry in Bridgeport, CT (short drive for me too) and take the relaxing trip over to PJ. (Hmm... I wonder if they would let me drop a line and troll for striped bass on the way over 🤔)?
