I have been loading our SUV...packing and getting ready for the big day (tomorrow) all this week..and I just finally got the email that I was 100% approved for trial. The way It was set up...I have my first injection on Monday morning there...I needed to leave tomorrow to make it there with a day to rest before the injection. We had decided that we would go on a road trip EVEN if I wasn't approved for the trial...because we had to be ready to go. I just got the news at 4pm today and we're heading out for Omaha for six months in the morning. I love this place, the doctor, and his entire staff. Hope springs eternal.

Hello, I had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Luke a few years ago at the PCRI conference in Los Angeles. Trust me, greatjohn you are in good and capable hands. Here is an Irish Blessing, if I remember it correctly from my youth, to help you on your way:
"May you have a long life full of gladness and health,
With a pocket full of gold as the least of your wealth,
May the dreams you hold dearest be those which come true,
The kindness you spread keep returning to you!"
There are lots of us on Health Unlocked interested in your Lutetium story so stay in touch. Good luck and God bless!
Right On! greatjohn. Your shining attitude is inspiring to me always . May the Lu-177 serve you well . Best of luck to you in the heartland . God bless brother!
Best of luck. I have had too LU-177 infusions in Australia. After my first infusion my PSA dropped from 50 to 3.5. Have not got my second results. Little or no side effects. Fanastic.
Prayers lifted up for a great sojourn and result in the heartland of America. Peace and healing.
Hey John: Wishing you a wonderful voyage to Omaha. This forum really needs a success right now (I feel), and I am hoping it comes to you. Have a safe trip, and my non-religious thoughts and prayers are sincerely with you. Mark
Great attitude, and Attitude is Everything!!We wish you much progress toward remission with LU-177. The US needs this approved soon! Show us the way Brother🙏
Ok thanks. It’s interesting that several trials and they all focus on the same demographic. The good news is that it will help you guys. I hope you do very well.
Hi greatjohn. I just saw your post and am hoping for some feedback as I am thinking of scheduling an appointment with Dr. Norquist to see if I qualify for one of the trials utilizing LU177. Have you had this treatment? Was it successful? What about side effects? Are you glad you entered the trial? Any info you can give me would be great. I originally was told I could get early access to LU177 at the University of Chicago, but was just told I did not qualify because I have not had chemo.Shipoo
Personally, the LU 177 treatment was a huge mistake. Something like 10 to 15% too badly on it. I was one of those. To really find out how it went for me go to my profile and read some of the posts I did upon getting there and doing the treatment. Now I’ve been forced to go in for blood transfusions for low hemoglobin and IV incredibly low death like platelet count. It’s been a very difficult period of my life since I had the one LU177 treatment back in April Of this year. That totally doesn’t mean it will be good for you are bad for you. It’s good for a lot of people. Just read my postings on my profile. All the best, G John
After sending you my inquiry about your trial with LU 177, I saw the post where you advised that he treatment did not work for you. So sorry you had that result and also sorry for not seeing your follow up post indicating that LU177 did not help. Did not mean to be insensitive Shipoo
LOL. And now I just saw your response here so you did see what I was talking about. That doesn’t mean it won’t work great for you check it out and I hope it does!
