Just had another PSA test along with Lipids. Everything A-OK. PSA still undetectable, although I found out that i did not have Medicare B and was charged 39, 000 for 6 month lupron injection. They put the hurt on me.

Yep, with insurance the balance is now $22,000. I put up a go fund me page and received $5.00 lol. I established a payment plan with hospital.

Do you have a separate Rx drug coverage?

I paid 925 for a 3 month shot of Eligard, maybe that is why my insurance wouldn't cover Lupron. Eligard is supposed to be the same drug.

Lupron is an injection given at the doctor's office. That should fall under Medicare Part B.

Yes, but I belatedly learned that I did not have B. I have it now.

Do you have access to Kaiser Senior Managed Care? Cost for Lupron is $0.00. Monthly premium is minuscule compared to $39k.

PS if you every need Zytiga or Xtandi, in addition to your firstborn you’ll need to sign over your house, car and tv.
