Scans reveal cancer is gone for now

Scans show no evidence of Cancer in my body for now. Had scans on Monday and met with Oncologist yesterday to go over results. All of the nodules that were in my lungs are gone!!!!!. Still going to keep doing the Lupron shots every three months and try and keep this crap at bay. Gods speed to all of you and Merry Christmas!!!

In the beginning it was 6 rounds of chemo, bicalutamide and Lupron then just went to Lupron depot every three months .

Glad to hear of your success! I can relate, as I discovered metastasis in a lymph gland 5 years ago this month and have been on ADT off and on since--first 6 months of Lupron and Casodex, then a couple years of off and on Casodex, now another couple years of off and on Lupron. The tumor disappeared after 6 months, then I went a year with not treatment at all till my PSA climbed above 5 again. I am still tumor free.

You might want to consider IADT (intermittent ADT), or off and on, as many studies show it to be just as effective as the continuous form but with far less suffering from the nasty side effects. In my case, for example, I've had only 2 one-month Lupron shots in the past year (Dec, 2019; Mar 2020) and a one-month degarelix shot (Oct 2020), and my PSA last month was till only 2 and a scan last August showed nothing amis from my heart to my groin.
