Lupron shortage update from the FDA

My MO said it will likely be very expensive, so don't be surprised if insurance companies balk at first.

Understood... Hope you don't die of cardio problems from lupron. At 70 I miss sex and empty bag takes some getting used to. But after prostatectomy, sex was gone for good anyhow.

Shooter, even though I try to stay informed and up to date with the in's and out's of Pc and all the meds etc I still feeling like I can't keep up and constantly want to bury my head in the sand. That said, can you help me understand what you said about the cardio issues relating to long term Lupron? My cardio seems to be getting gradually worse even though I work at it, and the weight gain is ridiclous.

Hats off to my Dana-Farber team, I got a letter from my insurance company, that they approved Leuprolide acetate order for one year supply, this is how sourcing is done!
