"The microspheres are injected by the millions directly to the liver tumors via the tumor’s main blood supply, where they become stuck in the small blood vessels that are in and around the tumors."

They inject microspheres with it into arterioles in the liver. But it can only be used when liver metastases are concentrated in one place at the end of where the blood vessel goes.
