Hello Crabcrusher,

That's a great response to Provenge, if Provenge is the cause of your scan results. Reading your previous posts it looks like you've been on the drug for six months. Have you taken any other drugs since starting Provenge? What was your PSA at the time you started Provenge? Do you know what it is now?

Psa 2.2 I think. Have no idea what it is, now. He didn't mention it. He took me off ADT for 6 weeks, though.

Also, I presented a plan which had me stopping HT/xtandi for 3-4 weeks between doses to clean out my liver.

IMO all those techniques may have helped, I don't know. The difference was made evident as I thanked the Lord daily for my disease; it brings me so much closer to Him.

Metastatic. Castrate resistant. Treat by Dr Rosenfeld at Highlands Oncology in Fayetteville, AR. Was on lupron and xtandi for a few months and symptoms kept worsening. Documented here. Came up with a plan to quit lupron/xtandi for a month every cycle and he ok'd it. So'd God. Yay!

as I remember it , it was shaving a patch of hair in the middle of your balls ... then sitting each side on fire with lighter fluid ... then use an ice pick and stab the little suckers when they run from side to side !!! thats how I remember it. just say'in ....

of course that won't work for guys like us that don't have balls anymore .... whatever ..........

That's just great. Seems like most say there is no apparent psa change etc. Probably my next step. Will get psa tomorrow. Been steady at 0.1 and last scans show cancer is "stable". Unfortunately they also showed that the rest of me was falling apart. Seems to be a race at what's going to get me. I've got my jogging shoes on.
