New Technique for Metastatic Prostate Cancer Detection (bebbling)
It sounds comparatively simple. If it works, I would expect a comparatively fast regulatory approval time.
The open question would be calibrating how accurate and reliable it is. It would seem that such a clinical trial would not be overly costly or overly lengthy.
For those interested in blebbing & metastatic potential:

It's not clear to me how the results would be used.

It's an interesting observation but a very long road to a clinically useful tool.
Where would you get the cells from? If they are in the prostate leave them alone. If they are in the blood it's pretty hard to separate them from normal cells. If they are in the bone and a biopsy is required, then an MRI or other scan has already imaged the lesion and the presence of metastatic disease is confirmed.
So I don't see how this test would provide useful information not already available from other tests.
bebbling is what I do in my depends....
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
