You seemed to be disturbed with my wife's posts, I've told her this site is not a facebook, she is OK with that, we apologize.
I was in deep depression, could not sleep, my brothers pulled me through. my wife was so grateful, she wanted to show appreciation here and so happy.
So, I love all brothers here, please share your way...

Yeah, you know, the young whipper snapper version of myself would have responded at his level... 
NY, I also post over at another HU forum (for cancer #1) and am amazed at the difference in temperament there vs. here. The opposing point-of-view discussions there are without exception civil and courteous. Points made with well-considered counterpoints offered in response. I have yet to see a single poster at that forum direct anything that personally assaulted another member. That forum is based out of the UK, has a much more international membership, and is expertly moderated by several administrators who also actively participate in the discussion. By comparison HP APC seems populated with a number of angry old (and some not so old) men looking to vent their anger/frustration on someone/anyone else.
You are obvious a class individual as evidenced by you very courteous apologetic post above. Keep that glass half full. We're all in this together. Be Well - cujoe
I enjoyed the posts. Yeah, not Facebook but any shared moments or information is an opportunity to glimpse how this affects others for good or bad.

Screw that...I liked your wife's posts...were they clinically significant...in regards to your progression--yes....she wanted to show her love for you and appreciation to the brothers and sisters on this forum who helped your spirits--depression is another beast many fight...
If you don't like what is posted, don't read it and move on...when I go see my brothers who go fishing, I may post some pictures of the fish we caught...it may lift spirits for people to see there is another life beyond PCa...and feel good... when I see LuLu, we may choose to post pictures from the desert in Az...
It is good to see there is life beyond PCa...People should befriend others if they are comfortable with that....As an open, honest, and caring individual, I have made new friends here and look forward to meeting many of them this year... Are we afraid someone might die? Then stay in your cocoon... I want to live life to the fullest... We are of an age where people die... if having fun with a forum brother or sister is fun and can lift spirits, then why not post? Don't clog up the forum, but a few pictures...I have no problem with that...

As so many here have demonstrated through their posts, there is most definitely life even with PCA. How to handle the life part of this is just as important as the disease/clinical portion.
That was the intent, we've had a joyful wonderful time, just a sharing with brothers and sisters here.
If we cannot share our pain and fears on this site, where can we?
If our partners--whether male or femaie--cannot share their pain on this site, where can they?
What troubles me is the isolation that is often forced upon families dealing with a cancer diagnosis. I am old enough (75) to remember when polite people would not utter except as a whisper the word itself. DO NOT give the Beast that much power!
