Prostate Cancer Therapy:

I'm new and recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Urologist only wants to cut, burn and or poison and I want more. I'm scheduled to receive proton radiation treatment in near future. I'm getting new bone scan, cat scan and mri Mar 15, 2019. Where can I find a holistic/integrative oncologist near me (zip 23666) that would emphasize nutrition, exercise and other means to naturally cause cancer cells to destroy themselves or go into long term remission? Aloha and welcome. Others will answer every question. Some have been in your exact shoes.. we all know that the initial dx is like a punch in the gut. Keep reading. Don’t over load. Please state Gleason score and stage of pc. also age.. Helps us a little . It’s good you found HU early. It will take some of the fear of not knowing away.. I’m on the natural path also .Ive done rt and adt as well .. I ve heard good thing about proton.. pC gone wild is a demon.. Get on top and ride it . If not it will ride us into the dirt. It’s going to get us all in the end anyway if something else doesn’t get us first. Exercise now and as much as you can .Don’t listen to doom and gloomers . Your life isn’t over. In time we can adjust to just about anything with strong reasons to live.. Good Luck

Changed urologist he actually became upset for not taking his course of action, burn, cut & poison and totally rejected any knowledge of a natural alternative. I have a new urologist who is open to and have referenced me to someone who specializes. I completed mri, ct and nuclear injection with results of finding a spot on my pelvic bone on ct and mri. If i didn't know better they seemed disappointed. Yet juicing, cocktail mix, vitamins & minerals, fruit and vegetables, no sugar and exercise. My a1c came down from 7.5 to 6.6 and had a blood pressure two days ago of 119 over 80. Awaiting my appointment for proton radiation treatment though I believe now I'm helping my body to heal itself. I'm a man of faith and prayer and I believe doctors are a help for our wellness.

I agree. My Dad is the same...faith first, healthy eating, juicing, supplements and good treating physicians:) God bless you!

That’s sounds to me like a recipe for success. Thanks

Thanks honolu for the update. You are dong good things. Great luck with the proton therapy and life .. faith and prayer will lead us through when nothing else will . Keep the faith and do everything you set fit in order to heal yourself and stay well . I also believe that our drs and nurses and techs all wish us health and life. There is some callousness for sure in some .Big egos in some prevent them listening to us. For the most part, everyone that touches us ,do so in the hope of extending our life’s. 119 -80 is great ... Finding a uro that will work with you is a triumph. Hang in there ... Take care..

I’m in Az. 1981 miles from

You. Although I did live in Springfield VA. As a child. I’d search for a naturalpathic onocologist close to you. Consultation is pretty cheap . Mine was $250, But mine took about 2yrs asking my habits and addressing my issues.. I’ve been under this plan almost 4 yrs. I believe in building your body up naturally in order to resist pc and all of the toxic treatments that although needed to survive do a lot of damage to the host . Take care

You may wish to message Nalakrats or pjoshea13-- I follow them as do hundreds of others...many here exercise, lift weights, do intermittent fasting, and take supplements--some here will say that has no value... SOC will only take you so far... I believe in a mixture of both....knowing how to mix is the key..... Those 2 gentlemen that I listed know how to mix in my opinion....

All the best,

Fish

A holistic/integrative oncologist that would emphasize nutrition, exercise and other means to treat this very slow growing cancer as a chronic disease is likely to advise you to work with them before you get cut, burned, and poisoned.

When I met such a man in 2012, his first question was what conventional treatments I had undergone. When I answered none at all, he boomed "Good!" Most of the men these types of doctors see have already conventional treatments that failed, and the first order of business is to repair the damage to the body, especially to the immune system, caused by those treatments.

I'm afraid I don't know any near you. I had to travel a long way to find mine.

Thank you for sharing, I'm yet looking for holistic/integrative oncologist and unfortunately none close by. I'll be 70 in July and I'm seeing Dr. Thompson at H U Proton Facility. For the last 6 months I've been juicing (cabbage, collards, celery, cucumber) 4 times a week, mixture of cottage cheese, yogurt, honey, lemon juice & virgin olive oil 3 times a week and B6, vitamin c(1000mg), d(1600mg), e(400mg), selenium, japanese mushrooms, saw palmetto, krill, omega-3 and other herbs. I've received dvd's and books on "No Chemo" but alternative methods in dealing with cancer.
