You might consider starting on ADT immediately, and waiting at least 7 months before having the adjuvant radiation treatment. There is a lot of healing that can only occur with time, and starting ADT now will make it safe to do so. You may wish to email these studies to your doctors for their consideration:
yes I had Lupron shot and radiation together, I would say get the 3 month shot and start exercising because I got the shot for 6 months and found out that it can cause blood clots , I had a blood clot recently , it was a surface one not a DVT which is serious serious, mine was could have been but I knew about the 6 month shot after I got it and did some research and went to ER for pain in my leg and they found a small blood clot. also when I was getting radiation doing the Lupron it made me tired, but if I knew about the side effects I would have been exercising to keep this from happening also I didn't get weak till 5 months into it from both protocols. now I am in rehab to get my strength back. so exercise, I can't say that enough because of what I am going through now. I wanted to also mention the 6 month shot side effect for blood clots was 47%, chance and the 3 month shot is less then 10% chance.
