Here is an article from people in the Far East who claim to have discovered a marker for cancer stem cells, and that, in addition, it glows in the dark.

Wikipedia says that "vimentin" has a role in anchoring a cell in place.

Makes sense that it would be involved in some way in EMT, ie metastasis.
