I really didn't need that dirty water and ice in my left ear

So I have been riding a bike for about 63 years now. But today I had a first. There is still a fair amount of snow on the ground around Ann Arbor. I've been riding recently - I have 215 miles on the bike so far this year. But today I had a first time experience. I was near the end of a 13 mile ride, riding down a dirt road not far from home and a pickup truck passed me going the other way. Apparently it hit a big, deep pothole filled with water. My entire left side was totally soaked with ice water and mud. My left ear felt like it had tiny ice particles in it.

But the surprising reaction was that I actually in a perverted way enjoyed it. Life is perhaps more the unexpected than the planned. Enjoy!

Stage 4 diagnosis in 2012. Unexpectedly seem to be in a, perhaps temporary, remission since external beam radiation and 26 months of ADT. No idea why. Take it one day at a time.

👍👍👍 keep on trucking and each day we get is a blessing......ice in the ear and all.

Keep on biking .Ice water in the face. That’s a wake up. I’m in a similar status currently. We’ve got to make the most of it. I’ve done the same treatments and I’m at 35 months. One day at a time !!!

LOL...like I tell people...It's the BAD things that happen that really get your attention and become the "stories" of our lives. I have a similar memory of getting caught in a coldish rain storm ...in the middle a long walk. Once I figured out ...you can only get SO wet...I just relaxed and enjoyed the walk ! ! ! ~~John
