Hello -While I know every patient responds differently I thought I might create a journal describing my experiences during my treatment. Just brief daily entries on how it went and how I feel just to give a little insight for those guys who are just starting out with this as I am. Hopefully someone out there will find it useful.

Treatment Diary: 50 Yrs old/T3b localized advanced - Lupron and Salvage Radiation
I had a 3 month injection of Lupron an March 1 2018. I have not had any noticeable reaction so far aside from be a tiny bit more emotional/reactionary. In fact I feel somewhat better as my energy seems to be improving. I'm not sure if that is from the medicine and it's effect on my cancer or if it is more mental as I am feeling more positive now that I am moving forward with treatment. Either way I'll take it.
Day one of Radiation was easy peazy. The biggest problem was that they requested I have a full bladder, and boy did I have a full bladder!! Other than that there was nothing to complain about. One oddity, after the treatment my fingertips had a pulsating pins and needles sensation for 10 minutes or so. It could have been from my arm position but felt weird just the same but it did not hurt in any way.
Day 2 - nothing to report. I lifted weights in the morning and treatment was without incident. I didn't sleep well and woke up around 1AM , went back to sleep around 2:30. That's not particularly unusual for me though.
