MK-7 Vitamin K-2

I'm getting ready to add Mk-7 vitamin K-2 to my list of supplements. I'm having a difficult time finding a safe upper limit per day. Anyone?

I found a good article on Vit. K yesterday. I was tired and bookmarked it, not sure if it answers your question of upper limit, but it looked interesting. It is titled

Hubby has been on 400 mcg K-2 daily since 2012, along with 4000 IU of D-3 and 2 x Cal-Mag daily (350/175 ratio), amongst other vitamins and now metformin working up to 1000 daily. All well tolerated. Hope this helps.

Nalakrats - Thanks, this stuff can be be confusing as you know what. My last dexa scan came back (using the T score) as normal in my spine but 1.4, osteopenia in both hips. When a horse develops a severe limp, we put down and that's just what I told my family to do to my miserable ass. I deeply appreciate you taking the time. Oh, any idea how much D I should be taking with this?

I am taking Coumadin (Warfarin) because of atrial fibrillation, so I can not eat foods with Vit K1. I am encourage by your article about Vit K2. Thanks.

No, I figured that out thanks to you. Now I need to figure out how much D3 to take daily. Also, I wish I could get a definite answer on how much calcium to take being all this information out there regarding calcium and prostate cancer. MY MO tells me that 1200 mg of calcium daily won't hurt me. Bottom line, If I can't walk I'm going down for the count. I took this test, FRAX, and it doesn't factor in all the BS they pump in me. I did buy Ultra Vitamin K, with Advanced K2 Complex, (2 for free shipping) , now I need to fine tune calcium and D. All this BS makes me wish I were back in Africa spying on rebels. the good old days.
