I started taking buspirone in January. I have not had much energy in about a year. I went for my wellness visit at my doctor, and my labs came back fine. Still, though I feel drained of energy. I am not taking my buspirone this week because it makes me drowsy and I am practicing driving so I can get my license to drive. Any tips on how to feel less worn out?

Any of you taking buspirone?
I took this for a couple of months and all I can say is that it's a totally ineffective drug with a lot of side effects. I experienced lethargy as well, along with tightness in the muscles and just plain feeling uncomfortable. Perhaps you need to lessen the dose or switch to something new.
I am on buspirone now at bedtime. For the first couple of weeks, it would make me feel woozy and sleepy. I take it for anxiety. I do feel it helps me get to sleep quickly. (I aim to take it within 30 minutes of when I am getting into bed.) As for side effects, other than being very sleepy after I take it, I’m not sure if it is doing anything negative for me.
The initial several doses, though, really knocked me on my bum! It’s not physical feeling any more.
