How do you get disability for ADHD?

For those who receive disability benefits for your ADHD - can you please explain your experience in detail with the process/requirements for getting approved? Assume I know nothing on this subject. Thanks!

Hi Gem. It’s Shnookie. It is important to note that there is state disability and Federal Disability. I was a caregiver in 2019,and having problems with my bipolar depression and ADHD that were negatively impacting my life as well as my job performance. I’m on Medi Cal called

Medicaid in other states. At the Wellness Center in L.A., my social worker helped me with the paper work, I.e. how much I was

earning. State disability is paid twice a month directly deposited into a EED credit card. If U have been working necesssary,

Money can receive based on going back

Approximately 18 months compute money earned for each quarter and the highest quarter is the one that is used for monthly disability payout which is paid

Bimonthly. I was able to still work 12

hours a week at $14 an hour BUT the amount earned lowered disability payments a little bit. Your psychiatrist needs to sign off on this. Then if approved manage account created on your computer.
