ADHD = Sensory Numbers Experience

Hello Hello... I'm glad to be back plus be able to post to u all a concern, at times I just feel uncertain to post... Anyways here we go, does anyone have experienced sensory numbers info ? Well I certainly have been a girl with intensity in numbers plus TIME = WATCH has been a big impact on been timeless... At times numbers on clocks can identify, Measurements/Birthdays/Months/Years/Math etc...

I'm wondering wether this numerology in general... Could be from when I was a little girl, I couldn't concentrate @ school with math teachers... It felt like dyslexia.

Of course no one new abt my ADHD as I come to a conclusion... Seating staring @ window or other noise etc...my brain was taking all info on numbers... Could it be possible that all info registered then & now as an adult woman diagnosed--

Continuing-- could it be possible this is how I have all this numerology knowledge?

Any of u notice number sensorial sensitivity? I'm curious to know bcuz its scary sometimes... due to having all this good awareness-- certain insecurities pop up.

Instead of feeling good abt myself & know that even though... I have ADD I'm still a intellectual woman, oh gosh like the song says...it's ok not to feel ok 😊 cute song for sure... there's lots on self critical as well.

There certainly so much to this awareness... I'm just gonna finish by saying we certainly are heroes of ADHD let's keep it up... Lol listen to me, well yes of course.

After all we are in this together... As a community with lots of love& light.

Happy Valentine's as well, should be everyday xoxoxoxo❤❤❤

So, reading that, I can diagnose you with adhd 1000 times over. We are all far from stupid (since we love constant stimulation) so you have your hyper fixation of word number concept association. It's the way our brains make connections and jumps around. For some it's number associations, others its oh look at the plane, I wonder how it flys, oh ufos could be up there, oh what's the fictional species, oh bigfoot, oregon? Oh I want to travel. Let's go to Florida?

Ya see how we can just make the strangest connections?

I would agree with the other poster. It’s your hyperfocus. I think sometimes we aren’t even aware of some things our brains have chosen as “interesting” because it did it at such a young age. I am also good with numbers. I struggled to read but excelled in math and number recognition. I did a lot of association with numbers especially for the first 30 years of my life. When I found out I had ADHD I realized that I have quiet a few hyper focuses that I didn’t even know about that are actually ADHD weaknesses. It’s like I knew I was weak in some things as a child and hyperfocused on fixing them. Like time. I’m amazing with time! Said no ADHD person ever! Hahahaha. But it’s a hyperfocus of mine. It started with counting seconds on a microwave when I was very young. Eventually progressed to closing my eyes and counting to see if I could nail the beep on the microwave. Moved to minutes and more until somewhere in my 20’s anyone could say, come back on 12 minutes and I didn’t even need a watch. I didn’t count.... it’s like it was happening in the back of my brain and I just knew when time was up. I knew my memory was bad. Really bad. By age 7 I started to memorize license plates on cars on the walk to school. Which also lead to me memorizing people work schedules because their car may be gone. It took years and I worked everyday on it. It was a good exercise. In my 20’s I worked for years on product placement. Where did I put that? For YEARS I worked on repeating to myself “I am putting THESE KEYES in the RIGHT POCKET”. After years, I became an expert at remembering exactly where something was. But it was a hyperfocus and I had to work much harder than a nurotypical person for it. I’m also the ADHD type that has an extreme attention to detail. I feel like that’s not always the case. You’re either a pay attention to everything but not enough to process any of it or you pay attention to everything and imprint an above average portion of it. The latter was me. I didn’t speak a lot as a child. I was definitely the typical type they say about girls now with the day dreaming, staring out the window except I absorbed everything! The “rich inner life” is exactly what my brain constantly was staying busy with random, important and unimportant things.

Hope something here helps.
