I was turned down for treatment because I do use cannabis . I was told it causes anxiety . Some dose now but I know the difference. The cannabis Doctor said chew orange peel any citrus swallow or not it will calm down the anxiety. It dose but not for real Anxiety. I was also told the THC wraps itself around other man made drugs and holds them in a bubble then can release it all at once and people have died. But I can't find anything about that so far. With the lack of help for ADD , Mental Health ect . I'm 60 this yr diagnosed with ADD 1 yr ago and just found out I'm on a child's dose and that lady refused to raise it for 8 months, .I keeped telling her it's not helping. Quote It's my way or no way at all. She dropped me a few mths ago . And canceled all my meds. Starting over again so tired. But my Cannabis is the only thing I can rely on . The old stuff was better . Now it's all about money like the rest of shit it the world.

I’m sorry for all the hardships you went through. I hope you have people in your life who support you. I know that has made a huge difference in my ADHD journey. My dad has been very exceptional on finding resources for me and encouraged me to join this support group. I don’t know what other support I can offer, but I hope things improve for you. And I do support you.

No support .! Counselor is limited to what they can do. UR lucky to have such a great dad. Thanks !

Can you find a doctor that supports medical cannabis use? My prescriber gives me the same medications as always, even though I started using edibles this year to help with depression symptoms. All my meds still work fine.

I don't know where your doctor got her info from, but it's possible she's just prejudiced against what she thinks of as street drugs. I hope you find a progressive doc who really knows how cannabis works with other meds and can help!

Not had much Help with these Doctors . Took 11 yrs. to get MRI for my knee . They did knee replacement with in a myth after. Insurance won't cover Herbolistick meds.. And yes she is policeman wife , and my therapist. But have had several medical providers turn me down for Help. No confidence in our health care . Thank U. ! Oh I live in Oregon where it's legal . They just forgot to tell Doctors & Insurance!
