Hi! So today or last night it was my first time going on a trampoline. To some people they’d think I’m stupid for being so happy for being so happy and excited. But, I couldn’t express my joy as I kept jumping up and down until I got tired. Then I would jump again and again. Then two hours went by I didn’t even notice. I was filled with soooo much more energy than I had to begin with. I don’t know if it’s because I was overstimulated and having so much sudden burst of energy or more dopamine than I had in my entire life. But I loved every minutes of it even though I lost track of time. If I don’t have ADHD I think I have problems and if I do it makes sense. But I just wanted to share something that made me happy and maybe it’ll make you happy

Maybe you do have adhd
Flor1310, it made me happy to read about how much it made you happy. You got a big smile out of me! Jump on! Hugs 🤗
Thank you! I’m going to see a therapist on Thursday to see what to do next.
Thank you for the trampoline story! I needed to hear a happy ADHD story this morning. (I'm procrastinating my job and I'm going to kick myself for it when i get interrupted by my kids waking up and then have to figure out when in my day I can finish this.)I see your post is 2 months old. How'd the meeting with the therapist go? The road to diagnosis is sometimes very long, so if you're not there yet, hang in there. I'm going to get back to work now. I hope!
I saw my psychiatrist and he prescribed me with methylphenidate but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m still trying to figure out how it’s supposed to feel so that I know it’s working. But I’m still having trouble concentrating. I’ll be seeing him next month to bring this up. Thank you for your support!
I watched a video (I think by a psychologist???) who recommended making a list of the symptoms that are most troubling in your life then making a tracker to see how often and how much these affect you. Then when you go on meds you keep tracking how often and how much these affect you are affected by these symptoms to see if the medication is working. Best wishes!
I enjoyed your trampoline story! You had some fun and got some exercise. Great combination!
What did your doctor say about the medication? I haven't even heard of that medication. I've been on adderall, straterra and vyvanse. I wish you well! The trampoline story was awesome! Hopefully you can start getting more support from those around you, as well, now that you have a diagnosis. Take care! Hugs!
