Adult adhd help st louis

Hi I'm having trouble finding a professional in st louis to provide a thorough adhd analysis. I am 50 year old woman and was told it's just anxiety by the psychiatrist. but I know the anxiety spikes as I miss deadlines or have trouble managing my disorganization. Please share if any knows where i can go for help.

Ask your doctor to refer you to a psychologist for an adhd assesment. You should be asked a series of questions to test your recall, thought organisation etc.

Sounds like you are asking the wrong people, and there are a lot of them who who think they know about ADD, but they don't. So don't listen to there advice. Chadd is a good site to try. Also Dr Amen, aka brainMd and other names. His website contains several questionnaires that will help you understand ADD a Lot more. he is highly regarded in his field. The questionnaires are all free. Good luck
