Acne coming back after Accutane treatment

Hi!

I'm male just turned 27. I have finished a course of Accutane last September (took it over 4months) and it was 100% effective.

5months later, the oilyness of my face is 80-90% back as compared to before accutane treatment.

I then suddenly have small spots on my forehead, ~6 actual acne spots and I can see more potentiallly coming up.

Anyone with similar experience? Any suggestions on what I should do?

Hi. Sorry I have just seen this post and hope you are doing ok. I had to take 3 courses before it got me to where I wanted my skin to be. Stick with it. It will be ok in the end

Hi.. Yea, after 4 month i finished my course my acne comeback with the oily face.. Now, I m on the 5 month on accutane and im 100x worse than when i started..

Are you in the first few weeks of taking it again as it obviously gets worse before better? I had 3 courses of 6 months from memory

No. I'm in the 5th month of accutane. I just started the 5th month

Are you on the highest dose? I remember having to increase mine twice which did the trick.

Now im on 40 mg. 4month i was on 20 mg and now i m on 40 mg for another 5 month

If 40 hasn’t helped after a month, I would be asking to see the doctor. Perhaps your body has become too used to it now?

Yea.. I don t know. This is only the 2nd week on 40 mg. This week was prety good, I think i well the difefernce.. My body become more dry but my face it s pretty calm, no redness.. also, no pimple this week.. Maybe it s start to work.. I hope at least. I m to tired of this shit
