Chemotherapy
My doctor wanted me to try the
chemotherapy
treatment of Calquence(acalabrutinib) tablets. For me the results was coming very slow but was working. At this point my numbers are very good after being on it for about 5 years. It's very expensive but was put in a program to help with cost.

I heard someone say that the drug companies still consider it a success if the
Chemotherapy
kills the cancer even if the patient dies from the treatment. Is there any truth to this? Thank you

PSA went up after three treatments of chemotherapy
does it make sense to take another
chemotherapy
treatment since the PSA has risen after the 3rd treatment? The
chemotherapy
treatment is supposed to take place tomorrow morning Thank you in advance for your responses

Lutetium at earlier stage, clinical trial is enrolling
The second trial provides men with metastatic prostate cancer access to prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted therapy prior to
chemotherapy
. Currently, PSMA-targeted therapy is only available after

Seeking anyone familiar with aggressive small cell neuroendocrine prostate cancer and/or with lurbinectedin as 2nd line chemotherapy.
MSS, TMB low) I had 4 cycles of carboplatin/etoposide
chemotherapy
, which ended in March 2024 because a CT scan with contrast indicated a net increase in tumor burden.

The red devil chemotherapy
Just wondering how many other people have had the red devil
chemotherapy
treatment. I had it and it probably saved my life but I did not realize the potential problems it would pose me in the long term. I do not however regret having it and I am grateful to be still here with no breast cancer.

Third line chemotherapy, Caelyx
so, have started Caelyx every 4 weeks as carboplatin and paclitaxel and Niraparib have stopped working. Surgery to remove peritoneum and resection liver not an option. Does anyone have experience of just Caelyx? Is it effective on its own? Thankyou

Feasibility of someone from out of USA joining a clinical trial in USA?
His six doses of
Chemotherapy
(carboplatin + etoposide) that ended seven weeks earlier. My understanding is that
chemotherapy
is the established regimen for High Grade NE Cancer/SCC. Are there significant benefits of joining clinical trials after
chemotherapy
for SCC?

chemotherapy dose reduced
hello first of all Happy New year to you all. I am now on my 4th Chemo and have just had my dose reduced due to low white blood count. It has been low for cycle 2 and cycle 3 was delayed , for cycle 4 my oncologist reduced the dose. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I am a bit

Tumor Markers Trodelvy
Internet says “
Chemotherapy
treatment can cause a temporary increase in tumour marker levels. This happens because
chemotherapy
causes cancer cells to die quickly and release large amounts of the tumour marker.” Im freaking out.

Ivermectin may help with cancer treatments
When ivermectin is combined with two
chemotherapy
drugs, free radical production is further increased. Ivermectin also reverses drug resistance in
chemotherapy
-resistant leukemia cells.

4 cycles of chemotherapy and immunology for Stage 3 non small cell lung cancer
After having one cycle of
chemotherapy
and immunology I am enquiring whether after I complete the 4 cycles how long this treatment alone would prolong life? Upon research I'm getting 6-12 months only.

No benefit of chemo for ER+HER2- invasive lobular beyond estrogen therapy
Here is the author's conclusion: The authors “observed no evidence for added value of
chemotherapy
” for ER-positive, HER2-negative invasive lobular carcinoma who received endocrine therapy.
