Hello everyone. I’m wondering what you all think of bio/neurofeedback we are going to give it a go with our 11year old. I guess I’m hoping for some success stories 😆

I just read your blog from a year back where you where 4 sessions into eeg biofeedback. Did you continue with the sessions. How how many sessions did you do for your child and what where the results. I look forward to read about the results.

I’ve researched it, and I believe it is a great alternative to medicating.

Beejstar- I think the best advice we can give you is try it and if it doesn't work, be willing to stop. I would give it a short period of time.

I tried it for over 6 months for my migraines and I didn't get any benefit other than I am always stressed and I need to slow down.

We are doing something similar with a behavioral counselor with my 2 grandsons. The older one has responded really well. The younger one can't seem to remember anything she tries to teach him when he loses control.

Not giving up though.

Thanks! I’m hopeful. And good luck to you and your littles also!

I looked into it for my 15 year old who has ADHD, anxiety, and is mildly developmentally delayed. I took him to get the brain map done and then was told it would take 40-50 sessions to see any results at the cost of over $6,000. The research I’ve done is so inconclusive and his school psychologist told me to hold off because of it. I hope it works for you and am looking forward to reading some good news :)

We have our first appointment on the 4th. We have tried lots of other things and this in one thing I have not given a chance. I figure if we’ve tried everything else available to us may as well give this a go! I sure hope for good results too, I’m feeling pretty skeptical.

Please keep us posted on how it goes. Fingers crossed!!

Hello I was thinking about biofeed back for my 5 year old for ADHD. I just saw your post from a year back inquiring if any parents have used this system. Did you get any responses? Did you end up using bio feed back/ neurofeedback? No one seem to talk about it. It’s all conversations about therapy and medications. Thank you for your time and attention
