Short of watching my daughter, how do I get my 9 y/o to consistently wipe after going to the bathroom? She’s had 2 UTIs this year alone and we are prob headed for a 3rd one. So frustrated right now.

Totally understand your frustration! My daughter still has a hard time understanding how to wipe herself properly and I often find streaks in her underwear. It has definitely improved especially with age, but she is very stubborn and refuses to wipe herself correctly sometimes and other times will forget because she’s too distracted. We have put up a picture chart in all of our bathrooms which shows the order of doing things in the bathroom since she often forgets to flush the toilet or wash hands too. It has helped but she still needs a lot of reminders. It’s so frustrating but try to remain calm and explain the reason she needs to wipe properly.
