Look up Cara’s story from “health home happiness.com . I am not sure people “outgrow” autism but it can definitely be managed and some say cured

Unfortunately, no. Autism symptoms can be managed and coping skills can be learned, but it’s something they will have their whole life.

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist and have worked with many children with autism over the years. I’m my experience most children with ASD learn skills and how to cope but are not “cured.” It’s similar to someone with ADD whose symptoms are more pronounced as a child, and learn coping skills as they get older but still have some degree of attention deficit. It’s a matter of brain wiring (in my opinion) so some symptoms maybe “outgrown” as they get older but they will always have some version of it.
