I have a 10 year old son that was diagnosed in January with ADHD and since then has been diagnosed with depression. This child is my step son legally but I have been raising him since he was 1. Every day is a struggle. Whether it is staying on task, having a conversation or doing what he is supposed to do. I am looking for whatever support is out there.

You can request he have a 504 plan or iep from school if you feel he needs help at school. if you are going to request it put it in writing there are sample letter you can find on for both. legally they have to give you one or the other because he has adhd it is listed under other health impairment in the qualification for them
