ADHD meds stop working?

My daughter has been on Adderall 20mg xr for few months and they have worked great. All of a sudden she has been extra aggitated lately. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? It's been since she had the flu and the meds seem to be too much.

How old is she? My psychiatrist said that kids’ bodies are rapidly changing up until they hit 12, so it could be that she needs a higher dose or a different medication.

She's almost 13 and has lost a lot of weight since being on the meds. Am thinking a lower dose might be best since the meds work well for her. Only when too high a dose does she act aggitated.

Oh that makes sense. She might also be going through puberty and is actually acting completely normal for a 13 year old. Good luck!
