Hi I'm the mother of a 6 year old boy thsts been diagnosed with adhd and autism. He's now on focalin and it works great until night time. He starts acting crazy. What can i do?

This is a common problem. Sometimes the doctor will put them on a small dose of Intuniv in the afternoon which helps with ADHD but does not interfere with sleep. We are currently rearranging the times my grandson's medications are given to avoid a meltdown period around 4 pm.
