My son was really aggressive towards me but then he started taking Guanfacine and has calmed down tremendously. Other things have helped him as well such as therapy and his IEP behavioral program at school. Before the medicine he used to have night terror's and when he did he was extremery angry at me screaming all sorts of bad things and yelling at me in his sleep. One time he unbuckled himself from his car seat as I was driving and reached his little five year old fist over my seat and started punching me repeatedly in my face. It was bad. I know how it is to have a child that is aggressive with you and it can be awful. I would recommend seeing a pediatric psychologist and a pediatric nurse practitioner as well. I think medication and therapy would be helpful.

I, too , have dealt with anger and aggression. MY older grandson's did not start until middle school, the younger has had tantrums, aggression and breaking things since he was 5. They are both on Risperdone. This has also helped the younger one with his severe OCD. I would love to do behavioral feedback but it is hard to find and/or afford.
