My Son Who Has Autism & ADHD

Just one week ago, I had went to an IEP meeting @ my son's school. He now has to be home school due to extreme behavior at school. I was told that home school was shor term, in the mean time that I was needing to decide to let him be referred to another school which is atleast 40 minutes from residence. My stomach has been in an uproar, I have kept a migraine since the school has the means to call my son a safety hazard. He was born with Autism & ADHD, what purpose do we all have in life. Everyone has a purpose, my son has a disabilty & he has a right to be educated not left behind because he has behaviors that he can't control!!!! If anyone can tell me what can I do at this point about the school? I feel I will need a lawyer, advocate lawyer that can help my son win this battle! I am one upset MOM😡

Had the same problem with my younger grandson. Yes they are required to give them a public education but they told me they can't put up with violent Behavior at their schools that it's a risk for other children.

My grandson is on 5 different medications but he is able to do well in school now most of the time. I hate the medications.

But one month a couple of years ago he was suspended for 3 Days every single week. That's got to be terrible for his self-esteem. I'm dreading what happens when he gets in his teens.
