Has anyone here been successful in stopping warfaring and trying something more natural like Vitamin E or another method?

No. I'm too scared to stop the warfarin. And my body doesn't want to absorb vitamins very well. I'm 45 and I've already had 3 strokes and 20 something TIA's. What do you take the warfarin for if you don't mind my asking?

I would not stop any anticoagulation for vitamins. Unless - perhaps you don’t really need anticoagulation? Why on warfarin? Not first line choice anymore. Swap to rivaroxaban/edoxaban?

I am using vitamin E to thin my blood but only because I have no diagnosis and no other treatment is on offer, as yet. I would not suggest stopping needed and prescribed warfarin (which my dad has been on successfully for 30+ years).

I researched alternatives having been told to take baby aspirin (which I can't) for possible APS/Hughes' (sticky blood) and was told that it can be used as an alternative. Certainly it has helped to thin my blood, and am being careful not to go too far. I am using quite a lot of good quality natural vit E, absolutely not just any vit E. (ARG Tocomin SupraBio Tocotrienols and Pure Encapsulations Vit E - both are grain free etc as I have multiple intolerances and are costing me a fortune.)

I use magnesium, ginger etc too, but my risk is deemed to be minimal. Not advising anyone else to do the same, just for info as you asked. Cheers

I had a severe allergic reaction to Xaerolto, after being on Pradaxa for several years. I broke out in hives, welts everywhere on my body, and was having trouble breathing. My cardiologist did not recommend a different blood thinner. I searched online and found Natto+ by Food Science of Vermont. Reviews (Amazon) suggested that it was successful for some in thinning the blood. I've had 2 ablations for afib and only 1 TIA. I also had severe cramping with Multaq and was taken off that medication. In addition to the Natto+, I take CoQ10, krill oil, and make sure to keep my magnesium levels up. This regimen appears to be working for me. Definitely check with your doctor before making any changes in your health care.
