Aspirin & Edoxaban after surgery

I am a bit worried about bleeds & healing . I recently had a carotid endarterectomy & but back on my edoxaban and aspirin added. Surely this has a risk of bleeding & is it likely to affect the healing process as clotting is part of the healing process?

Anyone able to comment please.

Hi kkatz, i read your post with interest as just yesterday I was told that the ultrasound that I had for something else picked a thrombus within carotid vessel. I am terrified. My gp referred me to a specialist so waiting to hear from them. If you don’t mind me asking, can you share the experience you had with this and any info you have about it.

It was furred up with plaque not a thrombosis.
