This afternoon's walk was 5k along our usual river track, it's called Downslink and links the South Downs and North Downs. Beautiful sunny and warm, shade from overhanging trees, bird song on the air. We really enjoyed ourselves. We walked about half of what you can see on the map and back again

Lovely walk and a nice MapWalk too, well done Sola, you have given me an idea, tomorrow morning I intend to walk on part of the new paths at Palacerigg parkrun, it won't be the exact course as I will start the walk on another part of the country park and when I do get to the parkrun course I will be walking in the opposite direction, I will take my phone with me and post a map of where I walked, on Saturday 10th June I will be the tailwalker at Palacerigg parkrun
Nice map! Nice walk! Brill mapwalk! I love those kinds of map-guides that give you both a sense of geography and history! First civil airport! Charles II! And some Saxon history, as well!
That looks like my sort of walk , no cows coming after me. A lot of history as well.
I like the downslink. A lovely surface to walk along. I’m generally a fan of a disused Railway track
looks a lovely route
