Has anyone else lost this week's data following the latest update of the app?

I found that access to files and media, location, and physical activity were denied in my phone settings after the update, and when I allowed them again my data was restored.

Try going into your phone settings, apps and notifications (or whatever your phone has), find Active 10, check the permissions.

Good find, thanks. In my Samsung app permissions Location was on but Storage was off. Switched that on and it seems to be o.k. since then. So I've lost 5 days data but it could be worse.

Same here.. storage has been put back on amd its ok now. Very disappointing when it happened tho

My permissions are all set, but my Samsung has lost five days' data. Oddly, each walk is recorded on the day, but look fir it the following day and it has disappeared. Very disappointing.

Have you tried rebooting your phone and/or uninstalling-reinstalling the app?

Thanks. I had rebooted umpteen times without success. I was wary of uninstalling the app in case it lost ALL my data. I need not have worried - all the missing days have been reinstated and it looks fine. Thank you very much for the suggestion! 👍😀

I uninstalled-reinstalled the app before suggesting it - sorry should have said that!

You were lucky. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now I have lost all previous data. I give up.

Certainly did. No joy, everything except today has disappeared. It's all on the device somewhere and, as jsquine says, Google Fit can find everything from months ago. But Active 10 shows only today.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Unfortunately none of the suggestions have worked, but interestingly I downloaded Google Fit and it uses a similar interface and data presentation AND my 'lost' data had already been logged and was available... I'll be using this moving/walking forwards.

Yes, I lost several weeks worth after updating the app. Not pleased about that as I was hoping to show it to my GP
