Thorough history and examination dependent on presenting symptoms. Review of scan result, diagnosis if possible and then management plan.

Presumably this is about your blackouts.

Certain pathologies will be excluded but you may not get an explanation if all tests are normal

I see mine for restless legs, so talk, test , more talk. Once in awhile I go to a clinic where they check blood flow to my legs. No pain involved.

Hi Phil. Yep, have been to a neurologist and prob should go again. It's like David and Pam have indicated. Talk, testing if needed and then more talk.

Please don't concern yourself too much just yet. Wait until you've had a chance to talk first. What I'd suggest is that if you have any questions, write them down so you don't forget.

Best wishes x

Not much to it really my guy just made me walk up and down the passage (I am having problems with my balance, looks like I'm drunk all the time!)

After that he examined me then I had to get a MRI of my brain. I've had a few mri's before so I know what to expect, you have to try and relax while they do it! Then they send the films to neurologist and then he checks out any problems, yes it's a tense moment but necessary.

Hi there's nothing to it with c scan ,see doc first then go and get scan done. That takes about 10mins. You go into doughnut shaped ring ( not claustrophobic ) and back to see doc. You might have to have other tests as well but I don't. Good luck. xx
