Hi David,

I took the kids to the nine lessons and carols in the Cathederal on Christmas Eve. It was absolutely beautiful. All traditional songs and the choir was amazing. It's one of my favourite things to do at Chrstmas. Hope you all had a good day?

Think the kids had fun, and they definitely seemed happy with their presents. They were really understanding about leaving their new toys to spend time with Gran in hospital. That made me feel very proud of them both.

What a kind thing to say. My default position is that whatever nonsence is going on in my own life, it's never the fault of the little people. It's been an ok day, but the kids are happy and that's what I wanted to achieve today x
