Hi Ava,

Yes, the morning is hard for me and I know a few people who find their mood very low at this time of day. I'm not sure why but you aren't alone. Xx

Take care of yourself.

I Wont tell you all the story ,but three broken vertebrae and a smashed foot,

I am on the mend now, after nearly eight months by the end of this month !.

I will work again , but to a lesser capacity I think ?.

And I have a large claim going on also.

It was a head on collision and the other driver was at fault, and walked away un harmed.

I should be glad to be alive, but there's been lots of complications like my relationship breaking down.

Hi Ava

Yes I know mornings are not the best for me either. I try and get up. Turn on

Radio, stick kettle on and jump in shower. Then have my breakfast.

It's really like I'm on autopilot, funnily I try and act as if " hey hi I'm normal, what a lovely day and so on" lol.

Ava that does Improve though, although since I got Depressed mornings are

Not the best. But I do as much as I can to get off on a good footing.

Hugs to you

Hi Hannah thanks for the response. Not sure why mornings are bad but they are for a lot of people. I will try the jump out of bed thing tomorrow even though the house is a tip well it's not bad but not kept up with it so that then gets be down too. Gosh can't win.

One of the things that seems to happen in depression is that the link between wanting to do something and doing it gets switched around so you actually have to start doing something before you feel you want to do it. I suspect this is at least part of the reason why mornings tend to be the worst for most people and you feel better as you go through the day.

Hello I find mornings the hardest past of the day not just because of depression but fibramyalga and joint/back pain. But Ive learnt not to push myself until later in the day to do things when I have more energy. Then I beat myself up that Im lazy when Im not really. But getting motivated to do stuff can really vary from day to day . But its good to get out the house for a while even if u have to force yourself. The same medication didnt work for me so after trying other anti depresants its worth it finding one that works for you, it can be trial and error maybe go back to your GP to discuss your feelings , all the best from Caron

Hello

Yes I have trouble in the morning due to RA, although my mental health me very subdued and forgetful.

Get some sort of boost after wife comes in with Pax and I have my second mug of coffee.

All the best
