Nervous exciting times and thank you!!xxx

I've only posted on here a few times but they have been when I have felt my most desperate. When I have felt like my world was collapsing in on me and I was beyond getting better.

Well guys exciting news first we have found out we are expecting a baby!!!!!!

Nervousness is coming off my meds which as already made me feel quite poorly withdrawal wise.

I am worried about the hormone change what it will do to my mood but as usual I have a fantastic doctor who is helpin me through it all slowly.

The next one is thank you!!!! To everyone at times that have taken the time to send me a quick message to let me know that they are thinkin of me and the advise you have all given. I don't think any of you realised that I really was at the end of the line everytime I posted and I would sit and reread your comments over and over until it sank in and your comments took over my negative thoughts. Some amazingly wonderful people on here absolutely amazing!!!!! Xxx

  • Kim Congranulation and that is fantastic news. You must be over the moon.

I know you will have your moments re: coming off Meds , but I am sure

There are people on the Forum who have been through pregnancy too

So I am sure you will get lots of support.

Get plenty of rest and talk to your GP if you feel things are getting on

    Top of you.

Its so good to hear a positive story, so thank you for sharing this with us

    Hugs

  • This is excellent news Kim and though I don't know you personally it is lovely to hear how this forum has helped you. Me too I find this forum very helpful and there are some lovely kind compassionate people on here. Glad you are here AOD x

  • What wonderful news... and how exciting for you both.

I hope you can come off the meds ok... just think of this wee baby and you will be fine. Don't want her/him to be drugged out!!!!

Please keep us up to date on how you are keeping and I really wish you all the best. Love Julie xx

  • Congratulations! Really glad the forum has helped you so much. I will say though, give yourself some credit - when you're at the bottom of the pit is often when it's hardest to stick up a hand and hope someone grabs hold. So don't underestimate your own courage :)

  • The site is great for those most desperate times, but do write at other times as well because we all find it helpful to read posts and hear good news and bad. Congratulations! A baby is wonderful, not easy but the best thing that ever happened to me. Do you have a partner? I do hope you have some supports and people to share your pleasure with, it sounds as though you've found some good help in your doctor so that's good. Do let us know more and have a picky when the baby's born - I'm still waiting to be a gran!! Give your baby (tummy) a cuddly stroke from me.

  • Thanks guys!!!! It's becoming more excitement now than anything else. Yes sue I've been married for almost 6 years now and my husband is like a kid at Xmas he would have a footy team given half a chance haha!! I've reduced my meds and nearly off them still continuing with my CBT so fingers crossed it can be managed effectively this way for the up coming months ☺️

  • Hi Kim . How are you doing? You must be really excited . Take good cre of yourself and enjoy every moment of pregnancy.
