Hello
Why do you feel the way you are today ? Do you feel bad because it is Christmas, has someone upset you.
I go through periods when I am getting up in the morning or when I am left alone for any length of time, we all need to understand why we do this and learn to compensate for these unpleasant feelings we have, Life can be a struggle that we have to learn and live with to the best of our ability. All I can say is try and compensate and beat those negative feelings
It is strange, retired now,I know why I am like this it is a medical problem. I have a bungalow in the countryside with dog and wife. Life is so very complicated

Thank you, I will post tomorrow. X
try this -it sounds a bit strange but it has a profound effect on some people. When panic attack comes, sit in a chair back upright.Stare straight ahead. Now, only moving your eyes, not your head, snap you fingers to the left then to the right of yourself-following them with your eyes only -do this for about three minutes left right left right etc and then stop, close your eyes and reevaluate your state. Do it again .Make no attempt to control your thoughts just perform the action mechanically. Its called EMDR you can google it.Let me know how you go.If someone else can click for you its even better.
Good luck
Hi anxietyang
Sorry to hear this, and hope you are feeling a little better at the moment.
I know it might seem easy for me to say, but try not to give yourself a hard time because you thought you had beaten anxiety.
Anxiety is something natural that happens to protect us - although I know that it can seem like anything but sometimes, and either way, knowing that doesn't quite make it any easier to deal with.
Either way, if your mind tells you are back to square one in terms of dealing with it, try to remember that you are not. You've come a long way, and I have no doubt that you've learned skills to help deal with it.
Again, when having a panic attack, that can seem like so far from true, but giving yourself a hard time will likely make the anxiety worse, so I hope you can give yourself some positive reassurance
You're doing great!
