impracticality

being an impractical person or a person attaching more importance to relationships than anything else makes your survival difficult...? is it foolishness to love everyone, attach importance to them more than yourself ? is there any relation which can stay for entire lifetime? can't be there any relations apart from blood relations which can be kept for lifetime????

I think it can be sad to value someone more than yourself because in order to look after someone you love you have to be able first to look after yourself. It seems selfish sometimes to look after yourself but I think it's only when we make sure our own needs are met that we can meet the needs of others. I think attaching more importance to relationships than anything else is human and healthy, but letting them be of more value than yourself is becoming a victim or a martyr and makes it impossible to meet the needs of others anyway. Not even blood relationships are kept for a lifetime, loss is an inevitable part of life and sadly we cannot change that, but perhaps you mean is it inevitable to be let down by others intentionally and no I don't think that's inevitable, although some people let us down because they have needs too or because they haven't enough love to give us.

yeah perhaps you are right...no one can give us love...love more than we do to them...

"is it foolishness to love everyone, attach importance to them more than yourself ?" Yep, that is no way to go. Despite what everyone might say (love thy neighbour and all that jazz), you are the one who's feeling happy/sad, so it figures that you should pay attention to how you're feeling first, and then look at your interlocutor (I imagine this is about a loved one, yes?)

"is there any relation which can stay for entire lifetime? can't be there any relations apart from blood relations which can be kept for lifetime????"

There can be, but those relations don't require effort from either part and it's our or someone else's insistence "to make it work" that brings grief, when the right course of action is to let go. Even blood relations can go sour. Does this look pessimistic? ON the contrary! I think it's the biggest relief ever. Those that are made to stay, stay. Those that aren't... well we're all passengers in this life but not everyone is riding in the same boat. peerdiagnosis.com/lump-behi...
