I’m Maggie and I’m just waiting to see if I can have cyber knife treatment. Has anyone had it?

Hi I had Cyberknife 3 years ago Tumor has got slightly smaller l have regular MRI s if there’s any questions you want to ask will happily try to answer xx

Hi , I went to the hospital yesterday and was asked by doctor what would I like to do if given the choice . I said wait a bit longer, please could you tell me how big was your AN before you had the knife??

I had gamma knife in February this year on a 23mm AN. This is about the limit size for gamma knife. So far so good after my last MRI this month. I am due for a check up in 6 months’ time

Did the cyber knife treatment remove your symptoms? My AN is 2.9cms and I have numbness on the left side of my face, burning sensation on my scalp and pulsatile tinnitus In my left ear.

Has the cyber knife treatment relieved your symptoms. My face is very numb and I have a banging in my ear and burning sensation in my scalp.

Have you considered gamma knife surgery since the AN is in your brain. It only takes one treatment and the AN is dead and shrinks by about a third. Cyber knife takes about 5 treatments and its main value is to kill tumors in other parts of the body other than the brain.
