Hi,

I personally have never experienced breathlessness. I take it that you've suffered with this symptom before diagnosis? I've personally had many symptoms. Dizziness, headaches, nausea, tinnitus and anxiety. I think anxiety heightens all the symptoms. I'm not saying this is the same for everyone because there seems to be many symptoms associated with these tumours - we're all different. I hope you get all your questions answered at your consult. I had fractionated stereotactic radiosurgery last year and many of my symptoms have alleviated. I get my second six month follow up MRI scan this month and keeping my fingers crossed! I hope all goes well with your consult and try not to worry too much - I know that's easier said than done!

Yes, my anxiety definitely affects my symptoms. I feel anxious, hold my breath....my breathing gets tight....but it all returns to normal when I realise it's only anxiety, not an actual physical thing. Meditation is brilliant for this. I use 'Headspace" and it's made a wonderful difference. Hope the consult goes well for you!
